Tips
How to cut a game highlight
- Game recordings run at 60 fps and FeatherClip keeps it, so fast camera moves stay smooth.
- Leave 2 to 3 seconds before the action. Viewers need to understand the situation before the best part happens.
- For Discord without Nitro the clip must be under 10 MB. Cut it first, then shrink it with FeatherCut for Discord.
- ShadowPlay, Xbox Game Bar and OBS recordings are plain MP4 or MKV files, so you add them with no conversion.

FAQ
Common questions
Will the clip keep 60 fps?
Yes. FeatherClip only lowers the frame rate above 60, for example from 120 fps recordings.
What is the best length for a game clip?
10 to 30 seconds. Enough for context and action, while the file stays light.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Everything runs in the browser, even on a modest laptop.
